GWLT's To-Do List. What're You Looking Forward to the Most?
Hey, everyone. I was just looking at the extensive to-do list that the Guild Wars Live Team has put together and is currently working on and started to wonder, "What are people most looking forward to?"
Here's the list as I know it so far (please let me know if I miss anything):- XTH
- Live Test Krewe
- Sealed Deck
- HB/TA removal
- Skill updates (more feedback and we're going to be allowed to know a month ahead of time now)
- Implementing new Henchmen into PvP/Removing heroes from PvP
- PvP skins
- GvG Tiebreaker
- New mAT schedules
- JQ/FA bug fixes
- New HoH map
- Automating weekend events
- Halloween Contest
- Halloween Content
- Wintersday Content
- *Syncing RA (not sure if I should add this or not....I'm assuming they're considering this issue "handled")
- Eliminating/Balancing Speed Clears (not really sure how to word that)
- The possible skill change to Shadow Form
- The possible re-work to 600ing
So what're you looking forward to?
I'm still excited about the Live Test Krewe. I can't wait to see how better QA improves the quality of the game.

Reason: adding the SC, SF, and 600 stuff I forgot.

Sealed Deck and Halloween Content (read: Costume Brawl).
I'd also like to see how they respond to community feedback about pending skill balances.

KJ, I'll take any of your list, but I'll add this: accurate weekend event descriptions. It's seriously bugging me how inept they've become at something so effing simple.
To your broader point though, Anet has seriously backed themselves into a corner with their unfulfilled promises, such as things you've listed, and how they've promised to be more 'open', when recent events show that's anything but the case. It's really a shame they've lost touch with their customers, when they should be getting people hyped up for GW2. Very poor business practices.

im going to go with #17 also.....not because i dont care or I dont think these are good update ideas.....just more/most PvE player so this update/list of ideas doesnt really pertain to me.....but if i had to pick i would pick #2---cause then all of you out there cant blame it on anet anymore.....its your fault now!

XTH if they fix it.
If they don't - I don't look forward to losing it.
Skill balance.
Which will now be incoming every 2 months.
FABULOUS!!11!1!!!!
Given how much time I waste in Aspy, one would think that changes to that format would be on this list. Considering that the changes seem to be about fixing NPCs, which ISN'T that map's biggest issue - I really do not care.
Basically I am interested in options that A.Net seems to be wasting less and less time on.
Hence why GW bores me lately.

If #10 is the bug that Juggernauts and Turtles stop moving despite owning a quarry, then I highly doubt that will get done. The bug has been around since Factions was released, and despite being a game changing bug (often it means the difference between a win or lose), it still has not been fixed.

I'm looking forward to:
1) Xunlai Tournament House -- Being a poor person all my life in this game, I really did love receiving my "monthly welfare checK" so I could buy Cool Stuff (like my first elite armor ;__; ).
3) Sealed Deck. I am frightened by PvP, but this actually sounds really fun and I would love to try it.
But other than that, I'm going to have to go with nothing/none of the above. Unless they start adding some genuinely new content into this game (like quests, outposts, maps, etc.), I will continue not to play it. I've already done everything 1000 times over and it's hella boring. x__x

Reordering it to fit my priorities.
- Live Test Krewe
- The possible skill change to Shadow Form
- The possible re-work to 600ing (I have heard of no such plans. Source?)
- Eliminating/Balancing Speed Clears
- HB/TA removal (Only so high because it probably has to or should happen before Sealed Deck comes in.)
- Sealed Deck
- Skill updates
- JQ/FA bug fixes
- Halloween Content
- Wintersday Content
- Automating weekend events
- GvG Tiebreaker
- *Syncing RA
- New HoH map
- New mAT schedules
- Halloween Contest
- PvP skins (Because your look matters more than your equipment stats, amirite?)
- Implementing new Henchmen into PvP/Removing heroes from PvP (lol, bars.)
- XTH (Lost cause is lost.)
